need some help with my lift im installing.

hi, im installing my own lift and ive ran into some problems as expected. i guess i need to extend my brake lines with this kit correct? its a 6.5" pro comp all spring lift. next, my shocks installed fine in the front but they are like 4 inches short in the back for some reason, do i loosen the lower shock bracket and rotate it up to get the mount right? instructions don't say anything about this. also, i have a pic below of how i think my rear spring all goes together, just curious if the aluminum block is for sure i piece i need. the way the instructions show it looks as it belongs there.do i need to get my front drive shaft lengthened, or does someone make a spacer to go on the flange or something to extend it.
on the front sway bar links, the instructions say to reuse the oem links, the ones in the kit are longer and would make the sway bar more parellel with the ground. im a newbie as this stuff and i just want my truck right when im done. also my truck in a 01 f250.

If the part number on the shocks is either 336000 or 936000 then they are the right shocks. Most of the time you have to put it on the ground to get the rear shocks to reach.

You have the rear springs together correctly. If you want to eliminate a block you can go to Ford and get a rear block from a 350. They are 3.75 instead of 1.5. and have the factory bump stop ear. You would just use it instead of stacking the blocks.

The new sway bar links are probably for the rear if you have one. After you use the flip kit on the swaybar frame mount then stock links are perfect.

There should be relocation brackets that lower the mounting point of the front brake lines. You will also want to slightly bend the bracket down toward the axle.On the rear pull the bracket down as well.

Front driveshaft is fine on a 6" but I would recommend a one piece for the rear.

Yes anything over 4" you have to extended brake lines. I don't know how the rear spring is supposed to be set up, never seen a pro comp lift in person. Good luck.

I myself would change your rear spring setup. It is not a very good idea to run large springs and 2 lift blocks. Either take one block out or get a single block that is larger. I would talk to pro comp because i dont think they would engineer that kit to run 2 blocks. I myself would eliminate that overload spring. Do the instuctions tell you to reinstall it? That would also explain why your shock is too short.

the kit doesn't come with any kind of relocation brackets. i flipped the sway bar mounts and thats where they ended up,

and on the overload spring the instruction directly tell me to reinstall them, so ill ask pro comp about that too. the over load wouldn't make the shocks come up shocks come up short im pretty sure. thanks for you help guys!!!

sway bar links... I installed a four inch lift on my early 99 and It came with longer links, i didn't have to flip the bracket over. It looks like you may need to use longer links and flip keep that bracket flipped. Good Luck!

i think the aluminum block needs to go under the assist spring, not under the main leaf pack. i dont know, i havent dealt with a kit from pro comp on these trucks.

yeah that's not the way the sway bar is supposed to mount. Diesel has you on the right track. The rear is right and yes you have to turn yer mounts to mount the shocks almost bout the center of the axle.

well my pro comp tech guy said the f250 is designed to run both the stock block and there aluminum one. the f350's have a single 4 inch block from the factory so i may try to track one of those down to use instead of stacking them. i didnt realize the shock were diffenrent and i had the rears installed on the front so thats taken care of. the overload spring is shown in the directions to be reinstalled but i asked the pro comp guy and he brought up a good point, if the spring overloads the brackets are 6inchs to high to hit on the frame anyways. didn't look to realize this. i have the support bracket on the sway bar, im going to install the longer links to get the link and sway bar closer to a 90 degree angle.
