what scan tool are you using? i have a generic obd2 scanner that will pretend to read a powerstroke, but comes up with nothing every time.

the buzz test is a test that clicks each injector solenoid rapidly (makes a buzzing noise) so you can tell if one is dead or messed up. this only tells you if the electronics are working, so if they all buzz, there could still be a mechanically bad injector. not all scan tools can perform tests like that.

Agreed, you need to determine if your scan tool can perform a buzz test.

Awww..Yes it does perform that test and it was done 30 minutes ago with all of them buzzing.

my uncle just had the same symptoms with his '02 7.3. Acted just like a cam sensor, no check engine light, and no codes. Dealer replaced the ICP sensor and the injection pressure regulator. Runs like a top now. ICP sensor was around $193 and the IPR was over $300.

ICP was replaced 2 months ago but the IPR could be the problem. If it is the IPR, hopefully its only the reseal kit.

Do any of the faces of the sensor have marks? If yes, you have cam walk.

Have you verified the harness with a DVOM?

What kind of marks on the sensor face and what causes them and what is meant by cam walk
