need intake for my brothers 6.0

obviously there are the namebrand intakes k&n afe and such but does the tymar style filter also fit the 6.0L i looked at it for a while and it looks like it would fit the napa filter like i have on my 7.3 just wanted to know if anyone has done it so far thanks

Keep the stocker in there as it flows fine and filters the best.

The Stock intake seems to do the trick for peak power on a stock turbo. However, I like the AFE Stage II Mega System for the throttle response and with the ProGaurd 7 filter, it's pretty close to stock filtering.

The new AFE MEGA Stage Ii is the way to go! I tried a new Ford filter at 8000 miles back in 2003 on my 6.0 and got 2-3 extra PSI of boost pressure, no way is the average guy gonna get good flow on a stock filter for 30,000 miles. Ford and Donaldson are waaaay optomistic on that mileage figure!! if you have any questions on the AFE call us we have a sale in progress on the new items too!
