I have a 08 6.4 L and I'm having over boost problems like exploding the rubber boots on the inner cooler tubes, I'm also hearing a loud screeching noise while I'm accelerating, and I am having a loss of power when the boost Guage tops out, I'm getting mad boost levels like 50 to 70 psi of boost, but am only getting 36 psi on the air intake, the truck has a dpf delete, egr delete, cold air intake, it has new turbos, up pipes, exaust manifolds , injection pump, fuel lines , new fuel cooler, changed the fuel filters, does anyone else have any ideas on whats going on

Something is funny here. You are getting 50 to 70 psi of boost, but getting only 36psi at (on) the intake? How the Fu&% are you measuring this? Have you looked carefully at the boots to see if they ARE leaking? How many miles are on your truck?

I know it's funny, that's what my mechanic said, the truck has 148,000 miles, I wasnt measuring the fuel intake but I will today, I replaced all the boots yesterday

No I didn't glue them on. I have installed heavier boots as in thicker boots, I also have found that when the truck is acting up that it's putting out 150 psi on the back pressure sensor, and when it's running normal the is 0psi

What sensors are you referring to; "back pressure sensor"? Never heard of this. 150 psi is way too much boost pressure. You will lift the heads off the engine.

No not 150 psi of boost, it would be the sensor located on the up pipes

OK, this is not getting you anywhere, nor me. You have to get the truck scanned, using a GOOD SCANNER like Autoenginuity and see what that tells you. If you don't have a scanner take it to a good garage and have them scan it. Is your 'check engine' light on? You will throw way to much $$$ at this problem until you get it scanned.
