Hello guys,
I am new to the forum, and new to Ford Powerstrokes. I just picked up a 99.5 F-350 w/7.3. It has a noise (fairly loud growling) coming from the rear of the engine. I isolated all of the accessories to eliminiate them. When you rev the engine to about 1500 RPM the noise goes away. You can hear it most prominately throught the front wheel wells. Could this be the turbo going bad, or a problem with the trans.? The truck has 102,000 miles on it. Any advice you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
