I am trying to pick out my father's day present. I am going to get some new speakers for the truck and have decided on Infinity components for the front doors. I am looking at the 6810cs and the updated 6820cs and the only difference I notice is the 6820 is 2 ohm. Would this be a problem with the factory deck running it right now? The Infinity site says that 2 ohm is preferable. What do you think?

for wiring it up to the factory. you should have 4ohms. if amped. 2ohms should be fine. the amp will get a little hotter than running 4ohms.
Well it is a done deal. I got the new version that are listed as 2 ohm. The spec sheet actually show 2.65 ohm. So far they sound pretty good. Much better than factory. Those separate tweets sure add a lot. These ought to help drowned out the recently added Grover AIR HORNS.
