whats up guys i hope there is some Powerstroke GOD out there, about two weeks ago I fueled up my tank and drove for a while i stopped at a friends house and he said the map sensor was loose and the truck was running but on Parking, he started messing with the connection and when i turned off the truck and started it again, it ran like crap!! Also it didnt want to start but I pressed the gas pedal and it started but was all shaky and as soon i gave it gas it died, I had to haul it to my house because the shaking was very bad and the accelerator did not respond. At my house i tried starting it the next day and it doesnt even start anymore. i have changed the ipr, the exhaustbackpressure sensor , camsensor, ICP sensor, and no LUCK some guy checked the truck for codes with the computer from FORD and nothing it went crazy like all weird codes and also it showed like a lot of oil pressure was being delivered, the truck has a programmer but i do not know what the problem may be it has enough fuel and oil pressure. Any TIPS I would greatly appreciate it guys thanx The truck is a late 99 powerstroke automatic,....

You might take a careful look at the CPS (cam position sensor) connections. The electrical connection can go bad and it can "look" alright.

Hey guys i checked both of those cables and they are just fine,, also some diesel mechanic at a petro was telling that i could have messed up the ECM OR PCM people call it different he said that while the truck was running disconnecting the map sensor thinking it was loose could have caused it? any opinions? i really dont have that much money to be just guessing at parts do you guys think its really the ECM or PCM .. .... thanx for your input

thanx for the advise guys apparently it is the cables on the relays or modules ,, the mechanic also said that the some modules were messed up because of the alarm not being hooked up correctly the modules messed up also he said that if you guys have the autostart on the alarm and its not correctly installed it can do some funny things to your truck on the long run. Right now the truck is running and i will keep u posted if it does anything weird. really appreciate your help guys thanx again
