i need to replace my e-brake cable on my 94 F450, 5 speed. it is a short cable that goes to the trans.
where can i find one??

Not sure if I'm understanding what you're saying....but my cable goes from the pedal back to the rear axle.. (Maybe some electronic cable is what you're meaning?)
I had to replace the cable to the axle, and got it from the dealer. No one else had it, and it was only about 20 bucks.

this one goes from the e-brake inside the cab and seems to be about 3-4 foot long and goes to a trans lookin brake behind the trans. maybe that same pedal does the rear drums and also the trans?? not sure, i did not look that far. ill check with ford and see what the damage is. i need my e-brake to work when winching!!! lol

i just called ford and $28 gets the part, and it goes from the pedal to the trans brake. they said no cables to the rear wheels on this truck? dont know, never looked.
and here i thought i would be having a $200 repair!

the 450s are completely different animals.yes its a cable that goes from the pedal to the tranny brake.our Ebrakes are on the back of the tranny instead of on the rear wheels due to our disk brakes.
