the only one worth a **** to me is the rapid hitch...its rated
higher than any others ive seen.

it isnt cheap but im VERY happy w/ mine...its good to know
my drop hitch isnt the weakest link in my towing set up.

The Rapid Hitch

I have the 10" drop w/ the 2 & 2-5/16 combo (my car/utility trailer is
extremely low)...my truck is stock height

$228!!!! wow....lil more than my current $30 Wal-mart special...lol

and its rated a little more that your girlie walmart model too !
you either tow safely or you dont.

I have a 7500lb capable trailer...i dont want to pull it w/ a 3000lb hitch.

x2, Bush. Thats what I run, the thing is perfect if you have multiple trailers with different size requirements and height.

good lord, you were complaining about the cost of the
rapid hitch and thats more expensive than my rapid hitch...
and the tongue rating is the same !

I like the lock set up (integrated)...but i wonder if itll hold
up (dirt/sand/rain/snow/salt)...

I've seen folks invert the hitch and drop a goose-neck on the ball. Any port in a storm I suppose.
