I am not sure what year the Dodge is but it does have a Cummins. That is why we bought it. I have never touched a 6.2, so I have no idea what a lift line is. Do you have a description?

Oh, well that sounds easy. I take it that is a common problem with the older 6.2's. Do you know of any others I should look for when I get home?

when they run well, them 6.2 & 6.5's are some fuel-sippin' smooth-runnin' bastiges

That is one of the reason I like them. I have heard as long as you take care of them they will run forever and not suck fuel. I have plans for a 6.5 biuld when I get home.
