Ok, I am at my wits end here. My Beast was doin great till the guys at the detail/service center messed with my aftermarket performance computer. It's been 2 weeks now and I still can't drive more than a few miles without him shuttin down on me. Had to get towed again today...

Today's episode was a hesitation, followed by the check engine light, then dead...I got him started long enuf to pull into a parking lot.

This is what's been done so far to try and rectify the problem:

removed the fried up remote start and alarm system..."nice" detail boys soaked all the components under the steering column, that, along with the "helpful" service tech screwin with my computer lead to the following corrective actions:

Powertrain Control Module - reprogram
Camshaft Position Sensor - replace
Powertrain Control Module Power Relay - Replace ECM Relay (B)
PCM Connctor - replace

Any ideas or suggestions? Dang it, all I was tryin to do is get my Beast spruced up and get an oil change!!

Gina,

You have anyone around that can check for codes on the truck?? They might point you in the right directions and help us diagnose the problem.

Give us some sort of sig. so we can figure out what kind of truck and mods you got. That would make it more helpful in diagnosing your problem.

I really dont trust people with my baby...I'd rather wash my truck with my dad and clean the inside by myself with some good music...rather do my own oil changes also !!!

i have to get the codes, and i am definitely doing all cleaning myself now. the detail/service center is going to take a look at it this weekend, even tho i don't trust them. that's the only way the owner will do anything about it and theres some state law about allowing them a chance to fix their mistake.

thanks for all your comments and help. if i get more info on the codes and such i'll post em, maybe it'll help someone else out in the future.
