My programmer is not working anymore!

I had ford do some warranty work on my truck, they change my egr vavle and couple other stuff. my question did they change computer when they did that, because when i try upload my programmer when i recently got it back it say this programmer does not work in this truck. it always have worked in the past? im going to try disconnet the batteries and let it clear it self, then try again. i have a diablo predator programmer 2003-2004 and my is 2003 truck. why is not reading?

I'm just taking a stab at this, but did they flash your truck, (check your paperwork)? I'm guessing they did the recall flash and if so, you will have to get an updated program from your diablo predator supplier, if I understand how the programmers worked.

You probably got a reflash on the ecm. The bad news, if true, is that most of the mfg'ers charge you again to make it work with the new flash. I've been told that only Bully Dog does not charge for new flashes, but that was from the Bully Dog's mouth, and I cannot verify.

SCMT charges $12 for shipping, but that's only with the original receipt. Without it, they charge $200 plus $12 shipping.

Both my friend and I have Predators. Diablo has new firmwares on their site. You have to have a serial cable and a power supply (about 20-40 depending where you buy it). My friends didn't work for a few months after taking his truck to ford. He finally told me and we had him updated in about 15 minutes.
