I had most of my new computer components on that shipment but luckily enough I found out my train was right behind the one that derailed there in the photos (Mecca California) The train carrying my order apparently was backed out and rerouted thru Salt Lake City and then down thru to Dallas.
My shipment success rate(no damage/on-time) over the last 6 years has been better with UPS by far but I think it has to do with the Mesquite Texas UPS Terminal and their drivers. When we resided in Norcal, the Sacramento terminal I occasionally received boxes damaged and late then again it might be their system as a whole out there.
FedEx' tracking system sucks and you never know what driver you'll get which sometimes leaves packages at your door or not which is why I prefer UPS.
