My new hardware...

Knowing how everyone is a gear head 'round here...thought
youd like to see some 'spensive titanium hardware...

I picked up some new hardware (in my knee) last week...
depending on how you calculate the cost these screws are
worth about 5-10k each...(this is my 2nd re-build).

the replacement screw, im told, will absorb into the bone in
5-8yrs.

they had to use an easy out & vice grips to get the round headed
(hollow) screw out...

was that covered under your Lifetime warranty ?

easy out and vice grips...yep gotta love it.... you craftsman and others have a neat attachment now that grips and backs em out with ease....next replacement bring one with you -popcorn
good to hear your all good now for awhile, now its time to excersis it in that NICE pool

They are doing wonders on knee replacements now. I hope you have many good years ahead with your new hardware...Living without pain is good.

im pretty impressed...'course the donor ligament i got is nearly 1/4"
in diameter and its holding well...10yrs ago when i had this done
i tore the acl w/in a month of the repair. (but then i had THREE ligaments
that i had torn or severed then too).

im amazed...i walked to the car after surgery (14days ago today)
and ive taken less than 1/2 a dozen pain pills...im walking w/out a brace
SLOWLY...previous surgery had me bed ridden and in SERIOUS pain
for weeks !

i think i could use those screws on my truck somewhere, i seem to have misplaced a couple the other day.

Ive got three of them in my right hand, supposed to go get a second opinion on having them removed and doing some scar tissue removal too.
