OK I am new here I have a 2000 Ford Excursion. When I turn the key nothing happens. I installed a new seloniod. I also installed a new alternator not to long ago. I have checked the relays under the hood. I can jump the truck at the seloniod. Is there any fuses that power the truck? I checked the 2 the onwer's manual stated about ignition and they seem fine. My last thing to think of is the neutral safety switch. Any help would be great I really need to get this running right again.

If you can jump the truck off at the solenoid it would suggest either a bad solenoid or no voltage current to the solenoid. Have you checked voltage at the small wire when you turn the key to the start position?

You need to check the DTR (digital transmission range sensor) Which is like a nuetral safety switch.

Can't tell you where its is but that is what my manual says to check.
