Dad had major eye surgery Friday and the patch was taken off yesterday. There is still a air bubble in his eye to aid in the healing process but the doctor seems to think that there is an excellent chance for a favorable outcome. They will know when the air bubble resorbs into the body, a process that can take a few weeks. But Dad says the "cobwebs" are no longer there and he can make out objects better. He still cannot read normal text, I had to set his computer on "braille mode" so he could read his e-mail.
