While you're at it, get the rocker panels and fender edges sprayed with bedliner material. I had it done and (1) it looks really good since the shop matched the color of the bed rail caps and (2) it REALLY cuts down on stone/road debris damage to the paint on the rocker panels.

Well my baby went into the Dr. yesterday to get all patched up. I got the other guys insurance to upgrade me to a fullsize crewcab truck for a rental. Unfortunately I am now driving a brand new, never rented CHEVY crewcab 1500. I hate this truck!!!! -mad Oh well!

Well my truck has been waiting to go to paint for almost a week now thanks to ALLSTATE!!!! My cousin is the service writer where my truck is and says Allstate underestimated the door and stipe kit cost. So he filed for a "supplemental" and they want to SEE the truck before approving any more or alloing it to be finished. But they have yet to send someone out and yesterday said no one was even assigned to see it. I AM PISSED!!! I am at work today w/o the adjusters ph# or he would have had an ear full today. This is crap! Oh and by the way I am tired of this low riding, too quiet, no power, no gadgets, 2006 Chevy 1500 Crewcab!!!

Well I got my baby back yesterday evening. Man is it nice to be back driving a FORD vs. that Chevy rental. She looks good. My cousins work at the shop I used and I asked that they "touch up" or make less noticeable some scratches on the opposite bed side. Well they PAINTED the entire bedside!! I also had them shoot my tailgate handle that I had previously used Duplicolor on. It never really matched, but now it does. So I am a hapy camper for now.
