Musty smelling A/C

I've used Wynn's Air Conditioner Treatment through the cowl vents and through the interior air intake to the right bottom of the glove box. This was after I removed the fan and cleaned out some black mildew that was festering down there somewhere.

I hit mine each month with Perex spray disinfectant. I just let the outside air intake suck it in and it keeps my AC nice and fresh all summer. We really get the humidity in the summer here along Lake Michigan.

Are you talking about the cowl on the hood below the wipers? I believe thats where the outside air intake is.
