I have 5" from the turbo back with a muffler delete. It is not loud at all, unless I am pedal to the floor, and then it is still not as loud as a pair of flowmasters, or as intrusive. I would say straight pipe it, since your is stock, it will not even be as loud as mine.
Added bonus is less restriction equals less work your turbo has to do. Remember your diesel is a giant air pump!
