we get to break it in on a long 12 hr run monday, we shall see if the 20 mpg is a reality
i will miss the 23-26 the edge was doing
i have already developed a strong bond with the tailgate step. how on earth did i ever live without one
Sweet!!!! That 150 also has more room in the back than a Super Duty.
Depending on the highway (I'm assuming interstate) you should get at least 20 if you stay at 70 or under. My 2008 with the 4.6 and 4 spd tranny is rated at 14/19 and I've gotten 20 on my trips to Louisiana via US 69 and I-20.
Of course, on I-20, it's sometimes hard to stay at 70 or you'll get left behind. I know you miss the Edge, but the 150 has alot more room. Speaking of the tailgate step, I wouldn't mind having one sometimes.
Good luck with the new ride and let us know about the mileage.

My brother has a 2006 SuperCrew and I have a 2006 F-350 and I have more room in the back seat then his F-150 does.

Am I reading that right? It's got MORE room than a super duty (99-11) model years?
it may....by inches if so.
but the rear seat back does not fold forward.
leg room YES bigtime.
so you cant rock it forward to get behind it? seems like i thought there might have been storage back there or something...
nice thing is, is that you can lift the seat up and you have a whole cargo area available to you. are there any locking cargo compartments in the truck? that was something big with the new super duties...dont know if the f150's have it
