We just got back from running our daughter & grandson down to Gladstone & back, about 55 miles each way. It's the first open highway trip with the car.
On the way down I had to pass another car. I started to pass and got what felt like a regular passing gear. But my foot wasn't all the down. So I figured "OK,so lets see" and mashed it. OMG, it about put my head in the back seat and we were doing over 60 mph already. We were doing close to 90 in a blink of an eye, much faster than I expected. Once I got around the other car, I totally took my foot off the gas and it seemed to take forever to coast back down to a reasonable speed.
