I was getting 13mpg with my 5th wheel and thats with a bad motor :sly.....I should get 15 to 16 with the new motor...LOL
But I dont go over 68 mph anyway with the 5ther. Just to much to go wrong going any faster.

I tow a 35' 5'er weighing about 11k depending on how much is packed in. I have a 2010 F250 with the 6.4L. I completed a 1900 mile trip averaging 11.1 mpg and the motor only had about 5k on it. I'm expecting a LITTLE better as it breaks in. Your mileage seems a little low, but not too far out of line. I'm also with Big Joe on this one ~ I tow at 58 ~ 62 mph; 70 will definitely lower the MPG (or at least it does for me).

I have a 97 Dutchmen 30' TT that is about 7000 lbs traveling weight (no slideouts or superhigh ground clearance). I went on 3 different 150 mile trips this Summer with mixed highway/2 laner with curves and hills and averaged 12.5 MPG.
