just lookin to see how much your lift and tires have affected your mileage on these trucks, mine is a 2001 7.3 4x4 stock, im getting about 18 on hwy and 16 in town, how much will the 6 inch or so lift and 35in tires afect my mpg? lets hear what it has done for your guys mpg?

the lift shouldnt hurt you at all, however the tires are the power leaches. the height of the tire will hurt the city driving, and the width will hurt everywhere. the more balloon like they are, the more fuel they will suck up. what size rims are you going to run?

Just to give you a heads up I was running 18 when I was stock and now I am running a 6" lift 35" Toyo's with 20" wheels and my mileage is right about 16.8 now. I use to run a little over 500+ miles to a tank and now I run around mid to high 400s. Now that is if I run straight highway. Stop and go traffic if I go into the office everyday I run about 402 then my 50 miles til empty light comes on. I have a 29 gallon tank and if I fill it all the way to the neck I can put 31 gallons in. I think everytime is different seen as much as 32.7 gallons go in.
