Hello everyone, I just moved to Springfield,MO and my 7.3 has a fuel leak on top of the motor anyone know a good mech. in the area that can help.thanks for any info:hail

or fix it yourself! i am 99% sure your fuel/water seperator switch seals are leaking. very easy to fix. all needed is a t20 hex.

first off...I unfortunately work on the road and the truck is at home with the wife needing fixed, second the leak seems to be coming from the backside of the filter housing were there is some type of rubber line coming out(i was told this may be a pressure release valve of some sort) thank u for all replys:hail

Your fuel drain valve is leaking. The rubber line connects the fuel bowl to a metal drain tube that runs down and terminates just above your frame rail.

thank u everyone

thank u all for ur help,i did not realize that simply changing a fuel filter could fix a leak but i will also keep in mind what u all said about the seperator.thanks again:doh:
