Mounting a laptop

Well I went and bought the Garmin setup today at Bass Pro Shop and loaded it up, The instructions are hard to follow, left me cussing but I figured it out.. This program is badass, I was only able to play with it out in the drive way for 30 min but Im going to start playing with it more often to get used to it for the big trip this summer... Now I just have to build a new center colum and mount the laptop, More to come soon

Well I built the center console today, fits perfect and I have it molded to make it look like it was built with the truck, All thats left is cutting the box hole for the CB, mount switches, install the power inverter, install the rubber foam to hold the laptop when not in use and put away, and upolester it.. Should be fully done and installed by Saturday

are you guys using an inverter to power the laptop? What amperage? The batteries in mine are shot so needs to be plugged in at all times.

Im running a 400w and it works perfectly... I didnt take pics of the built, I tend to get to focused but its not fully installed or all the way finished so I will start taking pics, I installed the CB in it today and installed cup holders and got some other materials, tomorrow I will work on it more and take pics and compare the old aftermarket center to the new console..
