i cut my rotors and replaced the pads at 60,000 when i bought the truck, now i got 87,000 on her and have new pads and rotors waiting for me to put them on, pad life looks great, even rotors look pretty good, but i got a nasty squeak from the pads, very, very annoying

I'm guessing the transmission being used has some to do with it, too. With a manual, you tend to down-shift .... which means less brake application.
