More turbo whistle??

wouldn't the foil on the tubes work as insulation and make a cooler charge and keep the temp. down?

It would do better if it were after the compressor housing where the air gets heated by compression. I really doubt it makes much difference before the compressor and intercooler.

If you want turbo whistle .....................buy a ball bearing GTP38R turbo.

The insulation on the pipe was added in the late 99's to quiet noise... Some costumers complained about the turbo noise... ONLY REASON!!!
