Will a bad injector pressure regulator valve cause such problems? Maybe loose nut on the IPR or loose connection?:dunno

It could but should also throw the P1211. I think my IPR vavle is getting weak, it idles down to low and has an uneven idle. But I get the P-1211 code at times also.

Another symptom before DEATH.......

Truck would stumble and stall worse on an uphill angle. I tried to pull into a fairly steep driveway and the truck died and would not start until I rolled back into level territory.

THEN......backed into lumber company to load up and it DIED to never re-start.....

Rollback is picking it up in the morning and it's going to Fuller Ford in Cincinnati, OH..........apparently they have good diesel mechanics there.

I will post findings and repairs so others might not suffer the indignity of being "towed" away!:td: :(

Last code thrown was p1212........at death!!

Stealership is supposed to let me know tomorrow......they called today and said they had checked the obvious and that it wasn't any of those.

I told them I had put (2) CP Sensors, (1) ICP, and (1) Fuel pump on and they said "Didn't you know this truck is still under warranty?"...................??? That sounded promising.

I've got 89800 on the clock.

$106 Later and (1) ICP Regulator

Fuller Ford in Cincinnati, OH took care of my truck.

Replaced the ICP Regulator and truck is good to go again!

$106 to repair and a $200 tow bill.........I'm not complaining.

A big :thanks to all who tried to diagnose. Hopefully this thread will be good -popcorn for somebody to help them out with their problem.

Almost traded for a Dodgem while disgusted until I visited their site.......apparently D/C won't fix their trucks under warranty (<36k).....

Glad they got you fixed. So they didn't do it under warranty? If they did it should have been $100 deductable and that includes the tow.:dunno
