well, we use "high-rise packs" which is bundles of hose, a nozzle and sometimes a wye. in a big ole bag you can through on your shoulder, then you take it up and hook to standpipe, in something like that you don't run a piece of hose all the way to the top. i don't want to KNOW what kind of pressure they were putting into the standpipe at the bottom to try and get roughly 100psi at the top. rule of thumb is you loose 1 psi for every foot verticle and that looked pretty high up there!
I totally forgot about stand pipes. I was just trying to be a smart ass.
