Monster Box or Suncoast? who has one and...?

i have not had a MB but i bought the vavle body they install in them and boy does it shift hard... pullin hills loaded town it would shif HARD!!!!! snap U-joints hard... so when i got a the first chance i pulled it back out and reverse engineered it to find out what had been done and the machining done to the shuttle valves could ahve been done better by my 2 year old, it is not consistant between valves... so i installed a updated kit put together by automatic transmission builder associaton and installed that when the tranny was rebuilt and it is much better, gear engagement is better and shilts are fast but not so hard you are buying new u-joints... i have bought several items from bob riley and paid what the price and have always had good luck with them untill i bought his oil-bypass kit....-mad

Not sure I want it to shift hard. Hard breaks parts. There is a fine line between firm and rough.

Has anyone ever used, or known anyone who used a tranny from ATS Diesel Performance? http://www.atsdiesel.com/ATSWebsite/PFord.asp

Bill at CPS here in Salem swears by these. I respect him tremendously, but wanted to seek other opinions. This tranny is $4,300 with the torque converter and torque commander, (not included install). What do they charge at brianstruckshop? Mine is slipping and shifting funny. I am not certain how much longer it will keep rolling under it's own power. Thanks-Sean

BTS is 3900. Shipping both ways so you return the core or go there and install. your choice. I had it shipped here since I didn't want to drive there and had my tech install it for $250 cash

Does this include a torque converter commander? Are these important?

Has anyone ever used an ATS, or know anyone who has used one.

My local shop is really making me a good deal on labor, (I am not at liberty to say how much), and he will only use one of these. I don't think anyone around here has ever heard of BTS.

I also E-mailed BTS a months ago and never heard back. A little frustrating.

I will call them tomorrow.

i have a bts tranny and bts dyno tune on my o2 it also hase 200hp propane and 200hp nitro and i cant hurt brains tranny ive went to the local track with the bts crew and there awsome if you can break it i think you might get an acomodation from brian for being able to break his trans i have also broke 4 rear ends after my bts trans
