Hi everyone!!! Newbie here long time Diesel Owner and Mechanic (mostly shade tree)..
I have a 94 7.3 cab cheesy with a Short I have looked everywhere and thought you guys might have some Ideas on
No bare wires that I have found YET, Unplugged a lot of sending unites and back up light switch things like that and have not found it ye..
Alt test good on and off the trk.

It has a electrical Short some where, I have not found any bare wires didn't know if some one else might have hade some of the same prolems.

Dead Batteries ? Something not working ? Tell us more !!

FIRST: If the Alt is good @ 14.5 volts running.... Load Test yer Batteries.. one at a time. Check the condition of yer cables and clamps. (If they're OEM.. they're 22 years old ?)

What circuits are not working, tail lights, headlights, radio and instruments? These are a pain in the azz to track down. I had a clearance light that was causing problems with my tail lights. Turned out to be a light bulb that had shorted out and NOT the wiring. Good luck!
