It's been a long wait but I finally have the lift I ordered two months ago and some time to put it on the truck. For those who don't remember; Donahoe Racing 4.5" lift with Pro Comp Wheels and Pro Comp All Terrain 35/12.50's. I can hardly wait to get started. If anyone has some pointers about the install please send them my way. It might save me a few headaches. It says it should take about 5 hours to do but they way I do things, it will be an all day event. As they say at work, slow is fast. Doing it slow prevents mistakes and rework. It might also keep it from falling apart on me after a few miles.

I also need to buy a torque wrench so if you guys can steer me towards a good brand that would be awesome.

On the torque wrench, all you will probably need is a craftsman. I have S/K torque wrenches and they work fine. I am not sure what any of them cost these days.

Make sure you have something for the pitman arm bolt. Pickle fork for a air chisel works really well. Or you can get a pitman arm puller or just a three legged puller. Lots of breakaway or zep or penetrating oil to spray on all yer bolts. You'll also need two tall jackstands.
