Are there any members who live in the Joplin, Missouri area? The media is reporting that there were at least 89 people killed in the Joplin area.

I was watching it last night,
couldn't beleive the amount of destruction, then on the human side there were folks showing up from all over to help find survivors
prayers go out to them.

The death toll is now at least 90. Evidently many of the dead were found on "restaurant row" as the tornado happened around dinner time late yesterday.
Yes we're having some weird weather, and our local CBS station just posted on Facebook that there's a threat of tornadoes tomorrow. I think there's rain in the forecast for most all of the week.

I've been there many times. I turned it to the weather channel JUST as the tornado went through and the weather channel reporter was in tears. They were chasin it and stopped in Joplin. Very sad. We got a Tornado in Reading ks and Topeka ks the day before. We saw the damage near Lake Side Villiage and big trees uprooted and trailers flipped over. Amazing the destruction a tornado does. Sounds like tomarrow LOTS of states are in it for a rough day/night. Hunker down!
