There should be a Tag on the rear axle with some numbers.

If you get those numbers I can decode them, should tell you the gears in your axle, the front would have the same gears if it is stock ;)

The Tag might look like this:

S132C
4L10 102 4C26

Lets break down the numbers:

S132C:

* S = Sterling Differential
* 132 = Print Number (Model Number)
* C = Revision Identifier (Change in Design)

4L10:

* 4 10 = 4.10 Gear Ratio
* L = Limited Slip
* Absence of L = Open Differential.
* A 3.55 geared limited slip axle would be marked as such 3L55. An open differential would show 3 55 or 4 10.

102 denotes the ring gear size. 10.25 inches.

4C26 is the build date.

* 4 = year of manufacture. In this case it means 1994.
* C = month of manufacture. A= January, L= December so C= March
* 26 = day of manufacture. So My differential was manufactured on March 26, 1994

(Found this stored in a file, was looking for it :) )

I dont know if its the same on the D60's but on my rig with the 50 I have a yellow sticker on the backside of the axle upside down that says "D50" and gives the gearing "4:10" and says a few other things
