Just me and my experience in dealing with European bureucracy:

Remove rear bench seat.
Go to the inspection station and have them verify that you had the seat removed. Get the required paperwork.
With the required paperwork in hand, reinstall rear bench seat.

Having U.S. spec equipment on a vehicle with European plates was an adventure. I swapped out headlights to get my U.S. spec Volvo registered in The Netherlands. Once I passed the inspection, I put the U.S. spec headlights back on.

Yeah, I could do that. But here in Denmark no vehicle with yellow licence plates is allowed to have seats in the rear. So it's pretty easy to get caught. And the consequenses are a huge ticket *plus* a forced re-registration for driving legally with rear seats. This could well amount to 20,000 USD, so I think I'll pass! :innocent

Does anybody have experience with fabricating a middle seat from the ground? I mean, if I did that, I could also make room for a sub woofer.

Where can I buy a used 40-20-40 split bench for my 00' F-250? And what would be a fair price? I tried ebay, but it didn't really come up with anything.
