Mercedes Engine in a Ford?

I went to my brother's shop the other day and one of his employees said that he had seen an excursion with a twin turbo mercedes diesel engine from the factory. The guy has two of them (he happens to be my supervisor). Is this true?

Tell him to order engine parts off the VIN#! Then you'll see look of amazement when they tell him they never offered that engine option.

I am going to ask my supervisor if it's true. He is a good guy and I can imagine that he will look at me like I am a dumba** for asking and then laugh. He has been a Ford guy for years now. He has an 2006 F-350 and a F-650 with the CAT motor just for pulling his 5th wheel and 2 Excursions.
