MBRP Muffler Delete

Has anyone removed the muffler on there MBRP 4" exhaust? If so how does it sound? I would like to get the sound back from when I ran factory pipe with muffler delete. The MBRP is close but still a little to mellow for me. Oh yeah, I have the 4" turbo back with the kitty delete pipe and MBRP muffler.

Lose the muffler you will be a lot happer. my buddy has the turbo back duals and he chopped his muffler off and it sounds 100 times better. you get more tone and whistle. whistle especially if u have the 10 vane turbo

Yup, take it out. Love my straight-pipe. Sounds like a Jet at idle, and a chopper at wot. Enjoy.

I bit the bullet and deleted the muffler. I don't like it at all....I love it!! This is the best mod I have done yet. Muffler delete $20
4 inch pipe from the turbo out $500
sound...PRICELESS!!

just ordered mine! installing the turbo back with cat delete next saturday. i think the muff delete will be a nice bonus. cant wait!

I think my buddy's 4" on his 6.0 without a muffler trumps my 7.3 any day at WOT...sounds amazing.

Look at my race vidio. I have the 4" MBRP without a muffler. You can get a good sample of the sound.
