I heard that Ford de-fuels the diesel at some speed. I have had mine to 85 and no problem. What speed does the computer de-fuel? Is SCT the only programer that will eliminate this? I was minding my own business cruising at 70 mph at 1950 rpm, and a Dodge Cummins passed me. I went up to 85 and passed him. He faded back. Then I thought, what if I pushed it past 85, where does it stop running? :burnit

Mine does about 98 or 99. :burnit When it hits that speed it just doesn't go any faster, it doesn't stumble or bog down until the speed is reduced. :thumbs

I don't know stock either, but after the Edge Juice the speedo goes up to 97 then just stops registering any faster while the Edge Attitude keeps going. I've had her up to 124 before I started thinking about what 8000 lbs would look like cartwheeling down the freeway after a front blow out because I was too stupid to upgrade the tires. lol:burnit

When you hit 96, which is the correct speed limit set by factory, turn the key forward like trying to start, and release...and it will continue till you run out of road, balls, or steam...your choice. No harm will be done. :burnit
