Manual locking hubs?

Switch to the manuals...The auto hubs are junk...Getting out of the truck in the snow to lock the hubs can be a PITA sometimes, but it's MUCH better than being stuck because you trashed your auto's.

And yes there is NO vacuum for the hubs...they are engaged by movement...The newer trucks have vacuums pumps to engage the hubs.

I Drove the truck around in a parking lot today with the 4 wheel drive on it works the tire get chirping and the truck was lurching. Then I got all four tires of the ground and put it in 4 wheel drive and they turned. one side faster then the other.
