I will be changing my oil in the next few days and have decided to try using the Lucas Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer with my regular oil. I have talked with people at Lucas and they say running this really helps and said that truckers have claimed a .5 mpg increase. Thay aslo suggested running the Lucas fuel treatment. Has anyone used these before? I am currently using the Diesel Kleen in all my tanks.

This just seems a little fishy to me. I have seen Lucas's displays in auto parts stores. This is not what happens. I have seen one of those displays emptied and refilled just the same way it says they are and it still worked the same way. If this test on the website is true then, when you pull your did stick it would show foamed up on it. Am I wrong on this?

I add nothing to my oil.

Never have.

You use a good oil, you got no problems.

I have seen them too but the ones I have seen have a little crank handle on them. I am thinking that it would be hard to spin that little hand crank fast enough to create any foam but with the electric motor or with your HPOP you are going to spin it fast enough to create the problems. Just use high quality oil and call it good.

I have run lucas products in everything I own and have nothing but good things to say about them. Just follow the directions on the correct amount and you will notice a difference.

So I decided to try the Lucas Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer. I changed it yesterday andhave checked the stick after a few hundred miles of running nonstop and no air bubbles. The deciding factor was talking with my great uncle. He owns his own company and runs nothing but Lucas products. He swears by it. He even runs it in his small engines like lawn mowers and such. His son has a lawn business that runs nothing but Lucas in those engines. :sweet

I don't use nothing but good motor oil. I have engines at work with over 625,000 miles on them with no oil related problems...I just don't put anything in my oil pan but oil.
