:dunnoI have a low (1 to 6 psi )boost miss. The fuel pressure is at 64- foot on the floor. Take the oil cap off & steady small stream of blow by.Miss gets worse with chip HP increase. Just put new injectors in to solve the problem. Can this be a computer problem - wiring or is this the $$ mechanical thing - rings or piston?? Thanks for all responses as usual.

i cant see it being a mechanical problem if your not blowing white smoke out the tail pipe but it could be the wiring to your injectors. i had a low boost miss at one point but it turned out to be the wrong programmer as the cause to my problem. another question is how many miles are you sitting at?? i know around 230,000 is when the wires usually start being a problem.

I would lay money on the injector wiring harnesses and/or valve cover gaskets.

I chased the same gremlin that's why I have injectors even though my old ones were fine. After the injectors I solved the problem with new vc gaskets & uvc harnesses, and repaired the engine side harness.

P.S. before you spend the time and $$ on the harnesses make sure that you have good glow plugs in there other wise you'll be throwing money away.
