Well, I'm just about to change out my front end with the 2006 parts, including new Headlights. I guess they could be called implants.

Went ahead and did it.....maaaaaaannnnn....there's so much airspace between that headliner and some metal in the overhead console location it ain't funny. I had to mount the transceiver bracket all the way back at the rearmost lip, right by my head, and got over a foot of wires from the windshield back to the transceiver. At least no electrical problems.

I'm going back to the drawing board on this. I'm thinking....since everything is already wired and fused, I may just pick up an overhead console for the truck and mount the transceiver to it.
