I have a f350 7.3 diesel just out of the blue it created a miss and only wants to run about 25 on the road idle seems to not have trouble accelerating other than appears to sound hollow and has a mis in the engine while running what might cause this. Recently changed oil and fuel filter no effect on solving.

Check your wiring connections at and under the valve covers.

possibly bad or plugged injector? faulty injector wiring through valve cover? Keep us posted on what you find i'm curious what it is. What year is your truck?
