the seal itself is not too difficult the time consuming process is getting the transmission out. You will need a transmission jack since the trans is that heavy. otherwise it is not too difficult there is a bolt on the back of the head that holds the dipstick to the head that is not the easiest to get to, oh and a long as in 3' long extension is greatly beneficial
The seal itself will be around 15 or so, if you were to pay someone to do it I would expect at least to pay 4-6 hours labor.
