You'll get better than 11 with it, probably around 15-17. We get 19 on my dad's excursion on the highway with 315's. Obviously check everything over on the truck and make sure it shifts smooth and tranny fluid is clean. A rebuilt tranny will cost around 2k a bulletproof rebuild is 4-5k. Pull the air filter and make sure the intake is clean. If it's all dirty in there pull the pin on the grenade and walk away.

You will not get good mileage with 35's without changing the rear end gears.

Dave

We have the metric version of 35's with stock gearing and get 19 checked with a gps unit. How's that not good? :dunno 35's aren't big enough to have to regear, and most guys that are lifted don't regear until after 37's.

Harris, my 2002 F250 7.3L pickup has 145,000 miles and is getting 17-18 mpg. It's a 2WD and I'm really "babying" it right now as far as takeoffs, etc. I'm keeping the rpm's below 2000 as much as possible. Your mileage should be almost that good with the 4wd.
