looking at another 6.0l

im looking at buying a 6.0l 2005 1 ton crew lariat fx4 with 37*** miles on it. ive been reading a bit about the engine. does anyone know what ford offered in 2005 for the powertrain warranty? and will that transfer to me?

heres the rig:
any advice, comments, etc would be appreciated.

5 year/100,000 miles and yes it is transferable.

I see on the door jam tag that the truck was made in 11/04. Check the left valve cover to see if it has a 04 or 05 engine in it. If it's a 04 I would most likely let it go. 05-07 is a different engine all together and a stronger one.
They are asking way to much for that truck.

My definition of power train is all compo nets to move the truck down the road . tranny,axles etc
