We are very happy and excited to get in service. It is sitting in my driveway for the weekend, it is backed almost against the house and the tongue is in the alley 1/2" or so. It will get moved to the momma in laws tomorrow afternoon for storage. We are gonna look at the schedule and see if we can make it to the Rally, that would be fun. My 3 year thinks it is really cool to have his own little bedroom area. The dogs seem to like it too. Now, I need a Dish on a tripod:D .

Tail Gunner, when I am at a RV dealer and he starts talking trash about the trailer that his competition sales, I write him off fast.

I hear ya. Car, truck or RV sales people are kind of like politicians in that you don't want to hear them talk trash about the competition. You'd rather hear what makes them better than the other guy and not why the other guy sucks.

Fire1: Did you get all the goodies you need to use the new camper like sewer hoses, water hoses & pressure regulator, disolvable toilet tissue etc?

I've got a story to tell you. The local RV dealer near me called about a sewer backup. We head over there and open up the manhole in their parking lot. We see that it is almost spilling into the parking lot. I got the clam shovel out to check which way the lines go. I felt something so I clamped onto it. I pulled out a RV discharge hose and it still wouldn't drain. I pulled out another, as to which the line finally opened. When we were done I went to speak with the manager. I asked him how many times they illegaly dump sanitary into the city sewer. He looked at me dumbfounded. I showed him the discharge hoses and he got pissed. I wondered how his employees were dumping without him knowing.

So don't dump in the city sewer. It is illegal and you never know the hose may fall in.

so FT4L that begs the question...how easy would it be to make a
dump connection @ my house (i know you dont KNOW my house but
know theres connection there NOW)

could i tap into the side of the house where (maybe @ the washer/dryer
room...thats close to the driveway ?)

If you have an outside cleanout, 4-6 inches in diameter would probably work, but I wouldn't dump into it. You are running the risk of getting caught or plugging up your own house. I know you may wonder why it is wrong to empty sanitary from your RV into the sanitary sewer. The city doesn't know what you are dumping. The consecuenses are like opening a fire hydrant. Probably a fine.

That is interesting. Not only do we have holding tank dump recepticles in two of our service bays, we have a public RV dump station in the parking lot. All is approved by the city of Ishpeming. I know city of Marquete also has two RV dump stations, one for pay use (for non-registered campers) at the city tourist campground, and another you can use for free at the city sewage treatment plant. The later is the closest to me, being only about 2 - 3 miles from the house, plus the price is right.:sweet

There is another free one at the sewage treatment plant at the community of K.I. Sawyer (formerly Air Force Base).

Oh yea! We bought our Jayflight 28 FKS a year and a half ago. We have loved it. And trust me, I'm still buying stuff for it.

Take a look at this site is you need stuff:

Camping World

Camping World is a BAD BAD store! :roflmao

Only problem is that it starts to cut into your PMS funds.

Congrats, you'll enjoy it.
