if the classics interest you, then have a look at project gutenberg. free (as in sex) ebooks and audiobooks. some are human read, some are computer read.

You can, also, look at Napster. They've gone legit and are very comparable to ITunes. I believe, you can pay a flat fee for a certain amount of downloads, instead of per song/album.
