They never go offroad so they never articulate. :nudge Best thing to do is pull the factory bumper off and replace it with an aftermarket one then you have plenty of room up front. If you have the radius arm frontend they sale a specific suspension lift with new longer radius arms that move the axle forward.

I've got the radius arm front suspenstion, with replacement radius arms and an 8" lift, as well as a replacement bumper, and my 38,s rub just pulling into driveways, and in hard lowspeed cornering. I don't see how you would get a 40" tire to fit with less than a 10" lift, unless it's not a true 40" tall

Not sure if kosher is to start a new thread or piggyback this one...
Installed add-a-leaf in the front and the new 35's rub still, but half as often as without any lift. I just need another inch (no ennuendo intended). Are there extension front shackles or some other on-a-budget means for getting another inch or two of front lift? Thanks!

brett they rubbing on the front or the back. If its the front just cut the corner off yer lower air dam at a 45 degree angle and you'll be good to go.

35's getting rubbed down to 34's...

I should have somebody drive the truck so I can see whether they rub in the front or the back. I'm pretty sure it's the front, though.
