Well first off I just bought an 04 F250 superduty with the 6.0 power stroke diesel. It had 38000 miles on it and had the Banks 6-gun, and Banks exhaust. After I bought it a friend of mine told me about the problems of the head gaskets on the 03-04 trucks with the 6.0 diesel. So I want to make her last a bit and do what I can that is reasonable to do. So I ordered and put in the Banks intercooler and ram air intake. She is still blowing coolant after a hard run. So I decided to do the Liberator EGR delete kit. Have that installed now and it still blows coolant. Also have the check engine light on now because of the EGR delete kit.
My questions are;
Do I have to buy another programmer to get rid of the check engine light?
and what do I do next about the coolant blowing out of the bottle on hard runs?

Thanks for any and all replies..

Call Liberator and talk to him. He's a good guy to deal with and is very knowledgeable. My uncle actually makes the EGR delets where he works. He know's Liberator well and is friends with him. Liberator's shop is about 30 mins from my house. Like I said give him a call and he can more than likely resolve your issues. Good luck and let me know how it works out for ya.

You'll have to get a tuner that can turn off the EGR so you wont get the CEL.

If you're still puking after the EGR valve, and cooler delete, there is a very good chance that you have a blown headgasket.

I would try to find a mod friendly dealer to check it out, if they don't care about the mods, then it should be covered under the 100k mile engine warranty, and only cost $100 for the deductible. See if you can get them to put some headstuds in for you while there at it. That's what I did, no puking since.

Good Luck!! Keep us updated.

Alright, I went to the dealer today and they said they would not work on it with the Liberator EGR delete kit. So I am going to take that off and put that part to stock. They said it sounds like head gaskets to them and that I would most likly need new heads as well. So I will have to tear her back apart so that I can have them look at it.
Thanks for the help..
